October 23, 2002 Huntington Beach

Regardless of what happens the rest of this season for the Anaheim Angels, in the last three weeks we have been treated to the best baseball games I ever been to in my life. From the Yankees series, the Twins series, and now the Giants (including that spectacular marathon last Sunday night), it’s been amazing. Many people who don’t even follow baseball have been swept in this post season, in large part because of the heart and soul of the resilient, sparkling, never-say-die, Anaheim Angels. Also, I have posted here what I think is the only known photograph of a President of the United States here in Surf City; Huntington Beach, CA. (Wish I’d had this when my first book was published…oh well…maybe in a future version.)
