September 3, 2002 Huntington Beach
Hope everyone had a nice, long, holiday weekend--thank
you for stopping by. As promised, a bunch of new things this week…
(with more to follow soon.)
*There’s a short video piece I shot
the other day on the Coliseum page of the PHOTOS
section—it has to do with a small mystery. (If anyone can
help solve, I’m all ears.)
*New photos and a short Huntington Beach
movie have been added to the HB section of PHOTOS.
*Plus, a personal "advertising"
tribute to Andy Warhol can be found in PHOTOS
under "Life and Stuff."
(It’s a :30 spot.)
*Recently, a new Duke Kahanamoku postage
stamp was unveiled—a big deal here in Surf City due to the
fact that this is where the Duke introduced surfing to the mainland.
You can see it by clicking here.
*NEW GAME-- if you’d like to play this
month’s installment of the new "Name the Odd Landmark"
game for your shot at a free autographed book, click
here.
Lastly, the "official" end of summer
always leaves me a bit melancholy. To that end, I’ve added
a favorite poem (author and title are unknown to me) which addresses
this change of season. It’s in the ESSAY
section or click here.
Did I forget anything? Probably. But hey.
That’s what next week is for…
Thanks for coming by…hope all is well
by you and that you enjoy the site (and the book(s) if you get
one)…come back soon…
