My favorite quote in recent memory (you may
have seen it) was passed along to me by my cousin, David. General
Norman Schwartzkof was asked if he thought there was room for
forgiveness toward those who have harbored, aided and abetted
the terrorists who carried out the 9/11 attacks. His response?
"I believe that forgiving them is God’s function. Our
job is simply to arrange the meeting."
To business... some new book signing events
have been lined up--details can be found, ironically enough, at
SIGNINGS. And a bunch
of new photos this week added throughout the sight, including
two favorites in a new "Then/Now"
section under PHOTOS.
(More Then/Nows will be added shortly—a photographic obsession
of mine.)
Also in PHOTOS
under "Life and Stuff",
the last time I saw the twin towers, some great fossil digging
areas we like to explore and a bunch of other bits and pieces…
As well, in the MEDIA section
are a couple of recent articles on my L.A. Coliseum book—one
from ADWEEK and one from The Los Angeles Times.
Been meaning to add a few new essays; hopefully
by next week I’ll have found a bit of time to write and
I’ll get ‘em up here.
And don’t forget--the guessing game
for a signed book can be found by clicking here—lots
of good guesses so far, but I can’t say if anyone’s
hit it yet. (Though another hint may follow soon…that tell
you anything?)
Hope things are good in your neck of the
woods…thanks for stopping in…(and for telling others
about the site—I appreciate it.)
