Then & Now Photo Gallery
The outside of the CBS Radio Studios, Hollywood, circa 1938.
The same spot today (It’s now called the KNX building.)
Each week for about 8 years I’d write/direct radio commercials
here for CompUSA in a small studio upstairs. On this day we came
downstairs to the old Sunset Boulevard entrance so I could take
this picture. (That’s Fred Willard and Jodi Carlisle comparing
the shot—they were voicing the spots that day.) (Inside
is the men’s room where Brian Wilson recorded echo harmonies
for “Good Vibrations.”)
